What is Senior Caregiving?
With my background consisting of being a licensed nursing home administrator as well as a caregiver to patients on hospice and/or with the diagnosis of dementia, I realized that this opportunity of service needed to be provided. Loved ones that are close to me know that my heart and passion is geared toward the elderly and caregiving. I have decided to add a caregiving program to my company’s services that provides in-home care to seniors where it’s affordable and convenient.
Services provided through Senior Caregiving:
Errands, light housekeeping, bringing in/taking out trash, picking up mail, assistance with paying bills/writing letters, assistance with showers/bathing/dressing, light cooking, companionship, respite (giving the family a break from caregiving), medication administration, and accompany clients to appointments.
Usage Required:
This program is only for 1 hour minimum to 3 hours maximum per day. Any further hours required the company will refer client to referred partners from the company’s Preferred List.
Consultation:
Before services will initiate a complimentary consultation is required with the client in their home to see if the company is a good match for the client and his/her needs.
Payment:
Senior Caregiving is an hourly rate. If the company must transport the client in the company’s vehicle the client would have to pay for mileage at the current IRS rate. The client would need to sign an agreement between client and company outlining said services, fees, and waiving any liability concerns before services are initiated. The company does not accept long-term care insurance.
Company’s References:
References will be provided if client requests.
